image BLACK OVERPRINT: 'C.D.' on De La Rue Star Wmk Perf 11½-12½ 2d dull orange-red with an Extra Vertical Line of Rouletting, slightly trimmed perfs at left, '6'-in-circle cancel of Redruth. Ex Brown and Colonel Harry Napier (II). RPSofL Certificate (1965) incorrectly states "...perf 11½-12½ and roulette [sic]". An enigma: Ron Butler lists 'Perf 12 [sic] x Rouletted' - probably based on the certificate - rated RRRRR. However, this stamp is perforated on all sides. As such it is unlisted, and the only recorded example, so it should be rated RRRRRR. Don Pearce concluded that it is a mis-rouletted stamp with perforations added to correct the misplacement.
