Australian States: South Australia, Adelaide's Lament Collection, 1855-1911, on Scott Specialty pages and Scott hingeless stock pages, fairly extensive, identified by Scott or Stanley Gibbon s numbers, but unchecked in detail; includes imperforates (with mixed margins) 1855 London prints (1p, 2p and 6p); 1856-58 Adelaide prints to 1sh; rouletted issues with a nice range, including 4p, 10p on 9p in black and blue, and others to 2sh; later perforated issues include nice 1870-73 10p on 9p, 1876-1900 4p perforated 10 x 12 1/2 mint, De La Rue Types, taller stamps with 1886 2sh6p and 5sh overprinted "SPECIMEN," and more; postmark interest throughout; more than 220 stamps, generally Fine to Very Fine appearance.
