Nov 30" circular datestamp on 1845 folded letter from Loker Renick & Co. (Nov 29 departure and Dec 9 arrival docketing) to Charnley & Whelen in Philadelphia, matching "Paid" handstamp, manuscript "10" rate, fine stamp on a colorful FL tied by only the red circular datestamp, without the pen cancel, some ageing and toned spots on lettersheet, fine St. Louis Bear cover, from the renowned Charnley & Whelen correspondence, signed by and accompanied by a 2006 Sismondo certificate (the earliest known date of use for this issue is November 13th, this cover with date of November 30th is among the earliest known) cat. $14000 (Cat No. 11X2) (Image)
