1903, $5 dark green, overprinted "Specimen" (Scott 313SE), a choice example with full, lightly hinged o.g., fresh and virtually perfectly centered with vertical "Specimen" in the left margin (and a bit of the next stamps overprint showing on the perf tips at the right), an Extremely Fine gem. Probably as fine an example of this high value Specimen as exists, with a 1992 P.F. certificate. Scott $600. (Image)
