Documentary, 1871, Second Issue, 1¢ blue & black, center inverted (Scott R103a), a lovely mint example, remarkably fresh and exceptionally well centered with disturbed original gum; accompanying certificate notes a "faint thin" at the top, which, frankly, we can't even see, otherwise an Extremely Fine gem, ex "World Traveller" Collection, with a 2019 P.F. certificate.

Documentary, 1871, Second Issue, 2¢ blue & black, center inverted (Scott R104a), a choice used example of this rare invert, fresh and beautifully centered with a clear 12/19/1871 manuscript cancel, Extremely Fine, the few well-centered examples all appear to have been used by the same firm, with a 2016 P.F. certificate.
