image Honduras, 1900 (Sept. 18), Astonishing large Registered mining cover, sent Amapala to New York, a remarkable large-size cover from the New York and Honduras Rosario Mining Company, franked by every value of the 1898 Locomotive issue (#103-110): 1c (2), 2c-10c, 20c (3), 50c and 1p (8), for a total of 9p35c, corresponding to a 915-grams rate; cover shows two strikes in red of "Via Panama & New York" and two in violet of "Via Puerto Cortez & New Orleans" handstamps; one 1c stamp folded over the edge; some minor edge tears of little consequence to this strong, linen-lined envelope, Fine to Very Fine, a superb cover with great visual appeal, including all eight values of the issue, a spectacular largest-known franking example.
