Netherlands Mint Never Hinged Collection on White Ace Pages in 2 Binders, which is quite complete from 1965 to 2005. There are some better sets in the earlier period, such as #s 286-300, 336-39, 368-69, B281-310, etc. Two envelopes contain 2006-2016 issues on loose pages and there are also 9 Year Packs with the 2007 to 2015 issues, as well as 6 Prestige booklets. New Guinea Superb Mint Collection, 1931-1939, including many never hinged items. The collection starts with a MNH 1931 Birds of Paradise dated set Scott 18-30 (c.v. $480, the 2/- value has a rust spot and was not counted), then the first 10 values, to 2/-, are present in MNH pairs with the John Ash imprint on the bottom margin. The 1933 redrawn set Scott 31-45 is next in mixed hinged and never hinged condition for the lower values, though all 4 higher values 2/- to £1 are MNH (c.v. $309). A redrawn orange ½d stamp is unlisted in Scott, but noted with a £100 value in Stanley Gibbons as unissued without the air mail overprint. Airmail stamps Scott C44 MNH (c.v. $350) and 46-59 mh (c.v. $720) complete this collection all shown in our scans. Very fine. New Hebrides British Issues and Vanuatu Mint Collection to 2012, with extras such as a few New Hebrides French issues and a booklet. The collection starts with the 1938 definitive set Scott 50-61 (c.v. $212), the only hinged set we noted in the collection. It ends with the 2012 birds definitive issue and souvenir sheet Scott 1025-1036a (c.v. $104). The New Hebrides British issues is pretty complete from 1938 to the 1980 name change to Vanuatu. New Zealand Mint Never Hinged Decimal Collection to 2020, in black Vario pages filling 5 thick and heavy binders. Includes Health miniature sheets, lots of complete sheetlets and booklets, dozens of souvenir sheets and gutter pairs with philatelic exhibition overprints, stamps and souvenir sheets from foreign countries in joint issues, Kiwi Mail stamps and booklets. Uncatalogued «Best of Year» and «Kiwi Collector Reward» souvenir sheets are also included. A truly massive collection quite near complete for the period 1967 to 2020. We calculated face value for stamps NZ$0.20 and over and came to the total of NZ$5,678 (nearly CAD$4,800 at time of writing). The collection starts with a hinged George V definitives set Scott 145-159 (c.v. $268), then a MNH 1935 definitive set Scott 185-198 (c.v. $575) and is all MNH from this point on. We noted the 1940 set Scott 229-241 (c.v. $110), two complete sets of Queen Elizabeth definitives Scott 288-301 (c.v. $179 each). In the back-of-the-book section, we noted MNH B3-4 (c.v. $200) and all miniature sheets from 1957 on. The 1936 Chambers of Commerce set and some airmail stamps were found damaged and not counted. New Zealand Mint and Used Collection and Accumulation, and more. This lot includes a set of 4 hingeless albums 1967-97 almost complete. For 1967 to 1980, the stamps are either mint or used, but often both are present. From 1981 on MNH stamps are occasionally joined by used, from 1991 on MNH stamps are near complete without souvenir sheets. A group of over 60 album pages include thousands of stamps from the period 1880 to about 1960 many of which should be checked for perforation or watermark. A group of complete sheets are also included. We noted Scott 1861 sheet of 100 (Face $50), 2 sets of Scott 1738-43 imperforated, as noted but unpriced in Scott, sheets of 25 (total face $345), complete sets of sheets Scott 1708-13 and 1799-1804, the latter imperforate, not noted in Scott, (total face $345) and much more. A valuable and attractive group of 15 Game Bird Habitat Limited Edition prints 2002-2016 completes this offering. We only counted the face value of complete sheets and sets outside the albums and came to the total of NZ$972. Faults noted on some early material, otherwise very fine. (Image)
