image Jersey Mint and Used Collection to 2007, on homemade pages. Stamps to 1972 are mainly used, and mint never hinged from that point to the end. The collection appears very close to complete from the 1941 Occupation issues to 2007, with occasional duplication in the 1986-1991 period. We noted exploded booklets and MNH postage dues. Face value of stamps 20p and over total €568, where non denominated Jersey minimum stamps are valued at 54p. Very fine. (Image)

image Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika Advanced Mint Collection, featuring the perforation varieties of the King George VI definitive set Scott 66-85. First a complete MNH set (CV $330), among the extra copies of various values, we identified a MH £1 (Scott 85a CV $300), as well as other such as 84a ($110), 83a ($125), 81a ($110), 76a ($130) and 69a ($95). Other varieties have been counted at the lowest catalogue value. The lot also includes two MNH Queen Elizabeth definitive sets Scott 103-117 and 120-135 ($200) and more. image Kenya & Kenya-Uganda-Tanganyika Collection in a Lindner Hingeless Album with Slipcase, with pages to 1995. The Kenya section catalogues $930, with strength in the mint sets from the 1980s, such as #s 360-63, 369-73, 375-79, 403-07, 469-75, 491-44, 496-500, 573-90, etc. The K.U.T. section ($830) has some mint sets such as #s 23, 48-54, 86-97, 120-135, but is a bit stronger in used issues such as 28, 46-56, 103-17, 120-35, J7-12, and a good selection of George VI perforation varieties including 81, 81a, 81b, 85, 85b, etc. Overall fine to very fine. image Latin America Mint and Used Collection to the 1960s, with a few thousand stamps on homemade pages in 4 binders. A few country collections go to the 1980s, though all are stronger in the period to 1960. image Luxembourg Group of Early Used Issues, 1852-1881, housed on 6 black stock pages. The collection starts off strong with a page of #1 (x33, $1,815), #2 (x20, $1,500), and the rest are an assortment of the second design issues, with imperforate, rouletted and perforated issues. The overall quality is quite nice, and we have catalogued as cheapest shades only, even though there is an apparent wide range of shades present, not to mention the many town c.d.s. cancels. A nice lot, for which every page is scanned online. (Image)

North Borneo is the most important group with 10 sets, then Sarawak with 9 sets, Straits Settlements with 4 sets and Sabah with one. All these are worthy of note, but a few examples are North Borneo 1939 set Scott 193-207 very lightly hinged (c.v. $712), 1931 set Scott 185-192 (c.v. $303), 1935 BMA overprint Scott 208-222 lightly hinged (c.v. $142), as well as Sarawak MNH BMA overprint Scott 135-154 (c.v. $500), 1932 set Scott 94-108 (c.v. $142). image Malta Extensive Mint Collection to 1987, appears almost complete from Scott 188 (1930) to 702 (1987) with a few before and after. Includes semi-postals, airmails and postage dues. We noted Scott 18 mint hinged (c.v. $110), the only hinged stamp we spotted in the whole collection. Also noted George VI definitives Scott 91-205 (c.v. $75), same with Self-Government overprint (Sc 208-222, c.v. $91) and Queen Elizabeth definitives (Scott 246-262, c.v. $127); all these MNH. All souvenir sheets and mini-sheets are included. The Officials are either used or NH, and sometimes both used and NH, for example with O65-78 and O79-94.
