France Mint and Used Stock in 7 Stockbooks, 1900 to 1992, one stockbook contains only used Sowers (lined and not lined, lots of postmark interest, different printings, etc.). Two other stockbooks contain an array of used definitives, with 2 pages of 15c and 25c Peace and Commerce (each on piece with c.d.s. town cancels), also with Blanc, Merson and Mouchin, etc. Two more thick stockbooks are full of issues from 1900 to 1978, including semi-postals, commemoratives, definitives, airmail, blocks of four and more. The two last stockbooks contain mint issues from 1945-1962 and 1991-1992 respectively. These contain mostly commemoratives, including blocks, semi-postals, sets, Famous Men sets, and more. The used stock contains a better than usual quantity of nice c.d.s. postmarks, and the whole lot is overall fine to very fine. Our photos only show a small sampling. (Image)

France Mint Collection and Accumulation to 1976, in two stockbooks and a folder of mint never hinged half sheets and large blocks. We noted Scott numbers 78, 92, 109, 110 and P7 and lesser quantities of Paix, Mercure, Gandon and Dulac issues. A few pages hold mainly France used stamps mostly from the early 1950s, and Colonies mint and used. A rare Castellorizo Scott 12 (CV $275) was found among other interesting items. A larger stockbook holds a mint collection from 1942 to 1976 on manilla sheets - this one was subjected to humidity and some stamps are stuck to the pages. Quality varies with faults and no gum to be found although the bulk of this lot is very fine never hinged. (Image)

France and Colonies Mint Never Hinged Dealer Stock, mostly in black stock sheets, mainly covering the time period between 1987 and 1997. France (cat. $2,813) has some regular issues but the strength is in its more than 100 booklets, both regular and semi-postal (many of these were catalogued as booklet panes only as listed in Scott, so should catalogue higher). The strongest colonies are St. Pierre & Miquelon (cat. $2,657) and French Antarctic Territory (cat. $1,832), and there is also some French Polynesia ($215), Wallis and Futuna ($160), etc. There is duplication throughout, sometimes up to 10 copies, sometimes in sheet format (many sheets are from St. Pierre). Also includes a small stockbook full of various older colonies issues, not counted in our catalogue value. A fresh and very fine lot. (Image)
