image British Commonwealth Red Box Full of Queen Victoria Era Stamps, many are identified and priced in 102 cards, with a good variety of different countries and issues, with duplication of some. We noted many stamps with a catalogue value in the $10 to $100 range, with some higher, but those will often have faults. We counted only those stamps that have a catalogue value written on the cards, with about 20% remaining unpriced, and did not count either the easily visible faulty ones, the straight edges or the revenue cancelled stamps, and came up with $8,398. Having done a comparison with today's prices, we note that the 10 or so items we checked are now more valuable than what was written on the cards. The lot is mostly used, but there is some mint scattered throughout. Overall fine, see photos for a sampling. (Image)
