Also JUL.2.1930 flight covers from New Zealand to Melbourne Australia (Stapleton 36k, $150) and to Sydney Australia (Stapleton 36n, $450). Also a 1934 Trans-Tasman airmail 7d overprint issue on JAN.17.1934 first day cover (cat. £150 in SG). Also two 1c Kiwi New Zealand used in Pitcairn Islands radio station covers, both showing usual minor water damage. Also an AUG.1940 censor cover to USA, returned to sender with at least 8 different handstamps and a 1944 surface rate cover from Wellington to Half Way Tree, Jamaica. Norway Advanced Collection of Town Cancels on Stamp, with 1,003 stamps (Scott #50 to 1354) having identifiable cancels, 875 cancels are different, with 28 doubles, and with 12 different types of cancels. The collection is neatly displayed in black stock sheets in alphabetical order, and includes the owner's complete inventory on a USB key. Owner counted the catalogue value of the stamps alone, which came to $400. A rarely offered collection, all pages have been scanned online. (Image)

Kabul, Afghanistan to a Miss Ailsa C. MacAllister in Montréal. All 9 covers mailed in Pakistan and franked with India stamps overprinted Pakistan. 5 covers mailed Peshawar, the others mailed at Charing Cross, Experimental P.O. K-117and Karachi, with one post office not identifiable. Letters must have arrived privately to Pakistan for mailing to avoid the unreliable Afghan post office. The covers are dated between DEC.5.1947 to DEC.20.1948 and all have minor creases, still an interesting group, just ripe for further research. (Image)

South West Africa 1914 Military Covers from the Campaign to Occupy German South West Africa, both covers have oval "Army Base Post Office / Force C / South Africa" datestamps in purple, one is dated OCT.26.1914, the other OCT.27.1914. Force C was based at Luderitzbucht in what is now South West Africa. There is also an "Army Base P.O. / South / OCT.14.5...PM / Africa / 4" c.d.s. on one of the covers. Both have the unusual registration cachet and both with censor labels in "High Dutch" and English. Putzel states that the early oval handstamps are rare.
