image Great Britain Accumulation and Collection of Mostly Used, mostly ranging from KGVI to modern, with a duplicated collection on pages, including many pages of high denomination Castles (early QEII and new issues), etc. Also noted a stockbook with what appears to be mostly varieties and interesting material, most of which is mint. The rest of the lot consists of bulk off-paper, with many thousands (tens of?) of various stamps, mostly sorted, for example a chocolate box contains Christmas issues sorted by year, there is a box of KGVI definitives, other issues are sorted by issue in envelopes, a shoebox is filled with commemoratives and Christmas issues, and a thick binder contains manila stockpages full of QEII Wilding issues (x2,285 according to owner). image Great Britain Group of 170 Early Used Issues on Three Black Stock Sheets, mainly all Queen Victoria perforated issues, with different plate numbers such as #s 43 (plate 9, 11, 13, 14), 45 (plate 5, 6), 51 (plate 8, 9), 62 (plate 13, 15), 64 (plate 12, 13), 82 (plate 21, 22, 23), etc. Also present are #s 111-122, 136 (x4), 139 (x2), etc. The earlier issues have the usual heavy bar numeral cancellations but there are a few dated circle cancels. Condition is typical for these issues, with some blunt or missing perforations here and there, rounded corners, etc., still overall fine and with a high catalogue value. (Image)

image Great Britain mint and Used Collection in a Lighthouse Album, 1841 to 1984, starting with a scattering of used early QV issues, starts to be more populated around 1887, then we start to see more mint in the KGV issues in the 1920s. image Great Britain Mint and Used Collections in Four Volumes, a Plymouth SG album contains a mostly mint collection, 1958 to 1969 with many Wildings, commemoratives, Machins, etc. A Minkus album contains a mint and used collection, with some Georgian era, but strongest between 1955 to 1986. A red stockbook contains a few hundred used Machins, with blocks, etc. and a spring back album includes a much duplicated study of the Wilding issues. See photos for a small peek. (Image)

image Great Britain Collections and Stock, with about 1,500 102 cards with a stock of mint and used from Queen Victoria to the 1980s, good variety with many higher catalogue items. A stack of dealer pages contain mostly better classics with a total "selling price" of $2,200. Six stockbooks contain a wide range of material from Machins to commemoratives, classics, modern used, etc., with thousands of stamps. We also counted 14 covers (many with Castle issues), a ziplock bag with modern mint mostly in presentation packs and booklets, souvenir sheets. Lastly is a small stack of album pages with a variety of mint and used stamps including Offices, etc. A very useful lot, overall fine to very fine. (Image)

image Great Britain and Area Collection in 6 Binders, the first having mainly used issues such as 18, 88-89, 111/122, 125-26, 127/138, 286-89, 304-12, etc. A second binder has a mint collection from 1973-87 quite complete including Machins and a face value of about £80. A third has a good showing of Offices with E.A.F., Eritrea, China, Morocco, etc., and a value of about $500. Binder no.4 has a used stock, while no.5 has about $100 in mainly mint Channel Islands. image Grenada and Dominica Lot of Complete Mint Inscription Sheets, 1972 to 1978, consisting of 165 complete sheets of 50 stamps, housed in two Uni-Safe sheet files. More than half of the material is from Grenada with several from Dominica, and a few issues from Antigua, St Lucia, and Seychelles. Duplication is very light with only two of each for a few issues. We noted good representation for the period, with denominations mostly in ½ cent to 1 cent range. Sheets are post office fresh with a catalogue value of $2,062 not including retail value of the philatelic supplies used to display the material. Clean lot, overall very fine, seldom offered in this quantity. (Image)

image Hong Kong Mint Never Hinged Collection on Lighthouse Hingeless Pages, 1891-2003, ranging from #s 62/1068, with hundreds of sets and souvenir sheets. The collection starts with a few mint hinged early issues: 62, 70, 81, 138 and 142, as well as never hinged 147-153. From 1941 to 1997 there is quite a complete run of the British Hong Kong issues, including definitive sets with watermark or date varieties: 168-73, 178-79, 185-98, 203-17, 203b-217a, 275-88, 275a-288a, 298a, 308a, 314-27, 388-403, 388a-403a, 446a-b, 490-504, 490a-504a, 502e, f, g, etc. These issues alone catalogue $5,500. There is also a collection of Hong Kong - China for the 1997-2003 period with about $800 in value, including better such as 885, 960, 998-1013a, 1031, etc. Also present are 60 different vending machine mailing labels. image Hungary Comprehensive Collection in 5 Le Marché Philatélique de Montréal Albums with Slipcases, most of the material is used with some postal cancels and more CTOs for the later issues. At the start, there is page after page of the early issues with perforation and watermark varieties, for example there are 16 used 1871-72 Franz Josef issues. Other better used include 462-65, 487-91, 871-84, 917-19, 1062-69, 1035 souvenir sheet, B94a-g, C26-33, C35-44, C67a souvenir sheet, C157 souvenir sheet, etc. Some mint issues include 199-202, 700-07, 844-47, B80-91, B97a-g, B195-201, B207-10, C3-23, C128, C136-45, CB1-1c, etc. There are over 100 mint souvenir sheets cataloguing by themselves over $1,500, including 486 ($70), 1182 ($42), B94 ($50), B196 ($125), B202 ($55), C95 ($75), C166 ($32), CB1 ($125), CB1D ($125), CB2 ($120), CB13 ($75), CB14 ($75), etc. Overall fine to very fine.
