1868 6c Dark Brown Large Queen, a mint block of six, with full original gum and all never hinged except for top middle stamp. The lower middle stamp has the tiniest pinhole, else fine. This remarkably fresh block is one of the largest multiples known of this shade, and is accompanied by a 2018 Greene Foundation certificate. It has also adorned some of the most famous collections, including those of Fred Jarrett, Col. V. Greene, "Carrington", S.J. Menich, and Ron Brigham, a lovely and rare item for the most advanced collectors. Rsv. $9,000. (Image)
Group of 98 Used 6c Large Queens, filling a double-sided black stock page, all these stamps were put aside a long time ago by a discriminating collector for having faults. These range from tiny faults to tears, creases, clipped or short perfs, etc. but doesn't appear to include anything major. We note a good range of shades and postmarks, overall centering is fine with a few better. Catalogue value is for least expensive variety only. (Image)

1868 15c Grey Large Queen, a mint block of four with sheet margin at right. Top right stamp is lightly hinged, two others are extremely lightly hinged (almost imperceptible) and the bottom left stamp is never hinged. Accompanied by a 2020 PSE certificate incorrectly identifying which stamp is NH plus mentioning two very insignificant things: "bottom left stamp with a nibbed perf at the bottom" and "bottom right stamp with crease at the top right" which in our opinion do not merit the mention. A fresh and very fine block. (Image)

Also includes an upper marginal pair, never hinged but with short gum at top of upper stamp, as well as a hinged single in a slightly different shade. Accompanied by two 2020 Greene Foundation certificates, one for the pair and one for the block. (Image)
