image 1860 1c Red Lilac Locomotive, an unused (no gum) inscription sheet of 100 stamps, more than likely from the second printing, with 8 printer’s imprints on the selvedge (two are partial due to some pieces of selvedge missing at bottom. The stamps are overall fine centered, and all of the constant plate varieties listed in Argenti (12 different) are present. There is some very light soiling mostly noticeable on the back of the sheet. We noted that four hinges were previously applied on the front of the sheet (4 corners) to secure onto a page, as well as a few minor perforation separations, else a solid and fresh sheet, seldom offered.
