1893 1c-$5 complete set of 16, with an additional 8c, used on both sides of a registered cover sent locally in Denver, Colo Jan 24, 1894, all tied by Registry markings, with arrival pmk the same day, showing the Italian Consulate Denver handstamp and addressed to Frank Bruni Grimaldi, Italian Consul. Stamps are centered very good (10c, 15c, $4) to fine-v.f., few faults noted, including 5c and one 8c on front, also $2 placed close to the edge of the envelope, with resulting perf. Defects, some overall toning on back, fine and remarkable cover with the entire set of the Columbian issue, with Registered receipt accompanying (Cat No. 230-245) (Image)
