image 1861, 5¢ orange brown, type II (Scott 30), top right corner margin block of 32, fresh with bright color, with partial imprint capture at lower right; partially separated and rejoined at center, a light crease mostly along the center row's perforations but touching designs in a few places; bottom left stamp with a tiny thin, three stamps never hinged, Fine to Very Fine, Largest recorded block of the 1861 5¢ orange-brown, and the largest multiple of any of the 5¢ 1857-1861 issue colors, ex Caspary, Klein,

Despite the relatively large number of 5¢ orange browns that reached collectors after the issue was demonetized, multiples are scarce, most having been broken up over the years to feed the market's demand for singles. This is the largest recorded block of
any of the 1857-61 5¢ varieties. The second-largest known multiple—the Whitman-Caspary mint block of nine—realized $60,000 at auction in 2009.

A true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
