Red cds on blue 1850 folded letter from New York City to Boston Mass. bearing 5¢ red brown (1), large margins to clear, bright shade approaching the orange brown, canceled by stylized manuscript "X"; light vertical file fold well away from stamp, stamp with light wrinkle at right, fresh and Very Fine, ex-Wagshal.
