Wheaton Maryland Experimental Booklets. Group of three type 2a booklets with red and white covers with two staples, two still on the two-side blue leaflet distributed at the Wheaton Plaza Self-Service U.S. Post Office in Silver Spring Md. which was open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, these $1.00 booklets contain blocks of four of the 25¢ Paul Revere No. 1048, and were intended for mailing parcels, these were short-lived being available for just over four months between Oct. 15, 1964-Feb. 25 1965, a copy of the Roger Brody article on this little known collecting area is included with this lot, a great addition to a specialized booklet collection.
