THE ONLY RECORDED DIE ESSAY FOR THE 1952 2¢ CARMINE POSTAL CARD.
This essay is dated 1918 because the 2¢ Lincoln card was prepared in 1918 to be using during the wartime 2¢ postage rate but was never issued due to low demand. It wasn't until 1952 when the domestic postage rate increased from 1¢ to 2¢ that the card was issued. USPCC $5,000 (Image)
