Germany, Postal History Group. Of 14 better items; includes four inflation airmail items with postcard postmarked 20 August 1923 from a son in Germany to his mother in Austria saying (paraphrased) "Hi Mom, send money (in Francs)" - presumably Swiss Francs due to the high inflation in Germany and Austria, a high inflation (but philatelic) airmail postcard postmarked 17 October 1923 accompanied by (apparently) a photo of the plane that carried it, three items of catapult mail: two picture postcards and one cover. The cover appears to be commercial and not philatelic (it is to a manufacturer of Pipe Organ Supplies in Maryland) and is a "double catapult" cover (seaplane to the ship "Europa" and catapult from "Europa" to New York), three items of Zeppelin mail including Scott C44 a postcard to Chicago advertising caviar, three Auschwitz Concentration Camp items from prisoners: two covers and one postcard, Postal Stationary with Thurn & Taxis Mi U25C used (has a 1.5cm tear but the 1997 Michel Postal Stationary catalog gives it a value of DM3,800 or €1,900).
