Accumulation of Used Small Queens, consisting of over 400 stamps, in mounts on various album pages or in black Vario style stock sheets housed in one binder. A cursory look revealed that all values are present up to 50c, with many shades, some fancy and town postmarks, including some dated (we noted a 2 ring #52), lots of 5c and 6c (including many early printings), several 10c, etc. Some faults noted, but overall fine to very fine. Unchecked for varieties. Scans only show a small portion of the lot. (Image)

Interesting Collection of Used Small Queens, with about 180 stamps filling two 2-sided black stock pages. The collector assembled these with the intent of owning at least one of each subject that can be associated with a Small Queen collection. Items of note which he purchased for the 3c value are a jumbo 41, XF 41a, two imprint copies, a lovely 37b copper red with 2-ring 45, also a reference set of 10 different 3c stamps assembled for him by one of Canada's prominent SQ experts (with accompanying list of catalogue numbers and descriptions), as well as a number of different postmarks such as a selection of towns (including smaller ones), and postmarks such as two Crowns, a #5, #6 (x2, including one on a thicker rose shaded paper), "A", geometric corks, etc. Also includes some nice 1c pairs, a 5c strip of three with c.d.s., and a lovely pair of the 50c with full strike of an Ottawa duplex (deep, rich colour and quite fresh). A most interesting collection, ideal for the beginner or advanced collector alike and overall very nice quality. (Image)
