Nice Collection of 29 Nova Scotia Forgeries, with a good number of different, from Spiro, Senf, Oneglia, Paneli, Fournier and some unknown to us. Noted a scarce perforated engraved forgery of the 1c, a nice New Brunswick #8 in grid on a NS 3d blue (this, a better item from Oneglia) and other scarce forgeries. A useful group for the specialist, with a few small faults. (Image)
6d Queen Victoria Unadopted Die Essay in Claret, printed on India paper and depicting an engraved design similar to the New Brunswick 1860s issues, as well as the PEI 4½d issued stamp of 1870. Printed by the British American Bank Note Co. A very rare item, Minute and Pratt #3E-A. Accompanied by a 2019 Greene Foundation certificate. Rsv. $650. (Image)

1862 3d blue Queen Victoria Major Misperforation, perforated 11.7, bottom sheet margin block of 10 with selvedge on three sides, mint with 9 stamps never hinged and upper right stamp lightly hinged, strongly misperforated with left column being unusually wide and other stamps normal size but with perfs strongly shifted to the right. The strongest misperf we have seen on PEI stamps and a lovely exhibit item. Ex. Louis Sidney Crosby. (Image)
