image 1860 1c Red Lilac Locomotive, an unused (no gum) sheet of 100, probably from the second printing, with 8 printer's imprints on the selvedge (two are partial due to some missing pieces of selvedge at bottom). The stamps are overall fine centered, and all of the constant plate varieties listed in Argenti (12 different) are present. There is some light soiling mostly noticeable on the back of the sheet. Four hinges were previously applied on the front of the sheet (4 corners) to secure onto a page, else a solid and fresh sheet, seldom offered. (Image)

image 1860 5c Queen Victoria Group of 29 stamps, majority are unused (no gum) and a few have gum. We note many shades and papers, two blocks of four and varieties such as "elongated earring" (x2), "dash to right side of earring", "flaw on mouth", and possibly more. We note different forgers (mostly Fournier and Spiro), different types of technology used, different postmarks, etc. Noted a lovely 3d Heraldic by Oneglia with blue #8 in grid postmark and many more nice and rare items. image 1857 3d Blue Heraldic Imperforate, a mint block of four, with full original hinged gum. A remarkable, and very rare block, with bright, fresh colour and large margins. The block shows a tiny scissor cut in the margin between two stamps and has light creases in the margins, still very fine and desirable. Ex.
