Lovely Old Time Collection of First Cents Issues, all on four quadrille pages, plus a stock page, we counted 1c (x12), 2c (x4), 5c (x39), 10c (x11), 12½c (x10) and 17c (x4). We note many shades, and postmarks include 4 ring numerals #26 on 12½c, #49 on 5c, #52 on 1c, and a #50 on a lovely 1c, also noted a 5c plate proof, a 5c with large margins which appears imperforate (not counted), an unused 2c which may have been reperforated, some coloured and dated cancels, etc. Nice overall quality, all scanned online and a great lot. A nicely centered block with bright and fresh colour, with only a tiny surface scrape at lower left corner of the lower left stamp, still very fine and quite scarce. A rare stamp, as we know of only one other example of this paper variety in never hinged condition. Accompanied by a 2011 Greene Foundation certificate. A "must have" for the never hinged collector.
