British Commonwealth Valuable Lot of Retired Dealer Material, with several hundreds of mint and used singles and sets, some in priced 102 cards, some unpriced, some in stock sheets, and we note a good variety of material here, from the classics to about the 1960s, with many items cataloguing in the $20 to $100s or more range. Countries noted include New Zealand, Ceylon, Fiji, India and States, British Antarctic Territory, Virgin islands, Falkland Islands, and more. Also included is a good selection of early GB, with six Penny Blacks, lots of Penny Reds, many QV issues with plate interest, over 100 Seahorses (to the 10sh), high denomination stamps, etc. We have not checked the dealer's identifications or prices, but do note that the quality is overall nice, with faults on some of the earliest stamps. China (People's Republic of) Lovely Mint Never Hinged Collection, 1949 to 1960, all in black mounts on good quality Fidelity Trading Co. album pages. Mostly complete in period except for some souvenir sheets (#s 245a-248a and 344a are present), also missing Scott #s 30 and 99-100. Stamps that were issued as reprints are present in both the original and reprint formats (pages are described as such). The gymnastics set is present in both original and reprint blocks of four (and one can also clearly see the difference). We note that many of the stamps have sheet margins and there is a little duplication of some issues (usually definitives), noted a few shades and perforation varieties (such as #28b $850, #278a $400) and includes all air mails and postage dues. Among several other interesting items we noted the 1958 Heroes Monument souvenir sheet ** Scott #344a (CV $275), two copies of the Flowers set Scott #542-59 used (CV $120 each), the Mountains set Scott #716-31 (CV $206), many of the valuable Chairman Mao Speeches sets 1966-67 including Scott #957-9 used (CV$490).
