image Old Time Stockbook Filled with Mostly Better, 1868 to 1908, with many copies of #s 29/30 (x26), 38/42 (x75), 39/43 (x55), 40/45 (x46), 47 (x20), 51 (x95), 54 (x10), 62 (x3), 70 (x22), 85-86 (x73), 95 (x45, at $175 each), 96 (x212), just to name a few of the larger quantities. Also includes some back of the book such as 2c and 5c RLS, a few revenues, etc. This stockbook was purchased in Europe, and does not appear to have been picked through, as we noted many nice dated cancels such as c.d.s., squared circles, rollers, etc. and many of the Small Queens are early printings, including for example a 10c pale milky rose lilac, the 6c values are mostly early yellow brown shades, etc. Overall fine, with some faults here and there, well worth inspecting. Catalogued as cheapest shades / printings, and the few mint or unused were all counted as used. The first three pages were not counted (or scanned) because they are identified as having faults.
