image Two "First Cents" Issue Covers with Grid 16 Cancels from Hamilton, first is a large folded "Return of Marriages" for the year 1865, listing seven names and details of people who got married in that year (all aged between 21 and 28 for the men and 18 to 25 for the brides), franked with a 1c Queen Victoria, tied by a #16 in circular grid from Hamilton (no datestamp, with much separation in the folds). Also a cover from Hamilton (DEC.21.1860) to Niagara, franked with a 5c red Beaver tied by a #16 in numeral grid, very fine. (Image)
