image Mint Collection in Three Lighthouse Binders with Matching Slipcases, 1924 to 2006, with definitives in a separate volume. Missing some stamps in the very beginning, but becomes close to complete from KGVI to 2006 (missing the first Castles and other odds and ends) and includes some large booklets, souvenir sheets and a selection of dues. Appears to be never hinged from QEII and on, with some NH before then. Huge catalogue value and face value. For example, we quickly counted 610x "1st" stamps (@70p = £427) alone, with much much more not counted. A valuable collection worth inspecting, overall very fine and clean. (Image)

Extensive Collection of Mint Wilding Issues, on pages, in stock pages, in 102 cards, etc. We note complete sets, many varieties such as watermark sideways, different watermarks, black graphite lines, phosphor, phosphor graphite, plate inscription blocks, booklet panes, and more. The lot contains at least three collections on pages, plus many stock pages, three different collector packs, a Harrods receipt with a 2d overprinted stamp, and much more. We catalogued less than half of the lot at $1,300, and estimate the uncatalogued portion to be twice, if not more that amount. Also includes a few articles on this fascinating issue. We highly recommend close inspection to better appreciate the wide variety of material and value within.

image Extension Collection of Penny Reds and Blues, all on black stock pages. The collection consists of over 520 stamps, which includes perforated and imperforate Penny Reds and Twopenny Blues, pairs, postmark interest (saw many Maltese Crosses), many are plated, flaws and errors, re-engravings, shades, Ivory Heads, and much more. Also included are 13 Seahorses and a number of other line-engraved Queen Victoria issues. Huge catalogue value, and although a little disorganized, a careful look should result in good finds, all pages are scanned online. A great lot for the specialist. (Image)

image Old Time Accumulation of Mostly Used Issues, mostly on album pages, on stock pages and in glassines. Most of the material dates between 1840 and 1940s and we note many better higher value items such as two copies of the Penny Black (both 4 margins, cat $640), a mint lightly hinged KGV Seahorse (Scott 181, cat $425), a mint pair of #29 (cat $700), used 2sh6d and 5sh QV and KEVII issues, a group of ten ½d QV issues identified by plate number, a collection of perforated Penny Reds identified by plate number, including a plate 225 with small faults, two Wilding booklets (BK68 and BK105) and more. We note many nice postmarks throughout. Condition varies, a careful inspection could reveal some finds. (Image)

image Mint and Used Large Collection, 1840 to 2000s, with thousands of stamps, all in a Davo album, 2 stockbooks and a binder. We counted 8x Penny Blacks and 1 Two Penny Blue (all with fewer than 4 margins), # 5, 6, 7 (all fine), 21x Seahorses, 5x #96, 2x #108 and 1x #109 and lots of plated surface printed issues. We also note hundreds of imperforate and perforated Penny Reds, unchecked by us for plates but do note many nice postmarks including 80 with Maltese Crosses, etc. A few faults on the early material and heavy cancels here and there, still a useful collection, worthy of a close look as there is lots of opportunity for finds here - see some representative scans online for an idea.
