image Collection and Accumulation of Used filling a thick and a thin binder with Manilla stock pages plus a stockbook. The thick binder is quite extensive, starts with the classics and goes on to the 1960s, with much duplication but saw nice postmarks, some back of the book, semi-postals, definitives, etc. The small binder includes much of the same, but with more emphasis on early definitives and also includes some Belgian Congo. The stockbook contains a colourful and interesting collection and stock of thousands of railway stamps, mostly all with nice legible postmarks. Also includes a few mint complete booklets, overall fine to very fine. (Image)

Looks to be well over 80% complete, with mint and used singles, complete sets, souvenir sheets and semi-postals. We note many better items throughout, including lots of never hinged (these in neat black mounts). The collection was carefully catalogued using Scott 2017 at $5,511 (complete inventory list included), which does not include all the extra material included, being 5 large envelopes of mint and used on stock pages and album pages. Belgium colonies of Burundi and Rwanda with pages to about 1992 fill another volume. Burundi is quite advanced, Rwanda less so. image Large Stock of Used Stamps, in three binders and four chocolate boxes. Very nice quality stock from 1910 to 2015, with low duplication to 1953 and higher thereafter. Most stamps are represented, even the high values and some souvenir sheets, 1953 to 2008. In the boxes stamps are cleanly organized by catalogue numbers in glassine envelopes. Many pairs and blocks to be found and lots of postmark interest. Note a few mint stamps and sets to be found here and there, as well as on 4 pages at the end where face value of stamps, booklets and souvenir sheets add up to over Bermuda$50. An exceptional lot. image Bermuda Parallel Collections of Mint and Used Stamps, from beginnings to 2015, appears quite complete except for the 1874-5 overprints (the high value George VI stamps have been lotted separately). From 1981 on only mint never hinged stamps and souvenir sheets are included. Mint stamps are mostly hinged to George VI and mostly NH 1953 on. Includes many extras such as multiples, plate imprint singles and blocks, pairs, strips, sheetlets, booklets, gutter pairs and gutter strips. This collector was really going for completion. Also includes 11 envelopes from the new issue service material from 2014 to 2018 as received from Bermuda Post Office with stamps and FDCs. Very high face value from recent issues and also high catalogue value for earlier material. A clean collection. (Image)

image Mostly Used Collection of King George VI Era in Three Lighthouse Binders with Matching Slipcases, 1937 to 1952, a very close to complete collection on Stanley Gibbons pages made for KGVI issues of the British Commonwealth (Aden to Zanzibar). Missing stamps are not always necessarily high values (some are) and we note that by far the area missing the most stamps are the Indian States. We noted some mint issues, often dues. Owner counted 4,173 different stamps in all, and we note a high degree of quality here, with many having clean c.d.s. cancels, and a huge catalogue value. Inspect to better appreciate. (Image)

We note a high degree of completion throughout, with few stamps missing to be complete, and the quality is above-par, with many nice c.d.s. cancels, etc. One of the binders is full of souvenir sheets only (owner counted 288 of them). image Extensive Mostly Used Collection of Queen Victoria to King George V Era in Six Lighthouse Binders with Matching Slipcases, 1840 to 1937, all on Stanley Gibbons pages for all countries (Aitutaki to Zululand), with most countries well represented. A lovely and very valuable collection left intact, and loaded with better singles and sets, way too many to list here. We estimate 90-95% of the collection to be used, rest is mostly mint hinged but we noted some never hinged in black mounts. Starts with Great Britain, with Penny Blacks (x4) and a Penny Blue, a mint #4 with original gum, four embossed QVs (3 are cut to shape), perforated Penny Red plated up to #224 (223 is mint), plus a number of other plated issues such as the ½d rose (all plates but #14), and much more (owner catalogued the GB long ago at $36,900). The owner catalogued many of the pages or countries long ago, many pages having a high catalogue value, several in the $500 to $1,000 range and more. For example we catalogued Malta alone at $3,775 (owner had $3,067). There are also a large quantity of expensive single stamps and sets in this collection, many cataloguing in the $50 to $200 range (and often much more), with many Shilling and Pound values throughout. The postmarks are for the most part clean, with most of the high values being postally used (a few are not). A much better collection than is normally seen. We have scanned over 150 pages online, just as a small sample. We highly recommend viewing this one in person to further appreciate the better than average quality, variety and very high catalogue value of this lovely collection. Overall fine to very fine. image Lot of Retired Dealer Stock, with hundreds of mint and used singles and sets from all eras, mostly in priced and identified 102 cards or in stock sheets. Many cards are priced in the $20 to $100s or more range, so high total catalogue value, unchecked by us for accuracy of the identification or prices, so inspection is recommended. Quality is overall good, with some faults in the earlier material, online scans only show a portion of the lot. This lot includes Great Britain (including six 0-3 margin Penny Blacks, lots of Penny Reds, lots of Seahorses, etc), New Zealand, Ceylon, Fiji, India and States, Lundy, British Antarctic Territory, Virgin Islands, Falkland Islands, and some others.
