Old Time Collection of 19 Early Covers and Cards, 1869 to 1910s, including 6 early unused stationery items and 13 covers with stamps affixed, with destinations such as United States, GB, Poland, France, Italy and domestic. Many are folded letters, some are folded covers and some are covers. We noted a few single frankings, such as Scott #26 on a printed matter letter, and others, plus combination frankings. There is also a wealth of postmarks to be found, both on front and on back - ideal for the specialist. The stationery includes a cover on laid paper with a very rare Red Cross handstamp (from 188?). The condition is mostly very fine, with bright colours on the stamps, as this was squirreled away since the 1960s and was recently discovered. All items are scanned online. (Image)
