image Two 3d Beavers on Laid Paper on a 1852 Folded Letter, mailed Toronto on JUN.11.1852 to Kennedy in New York, with PAID and CANADA in arc, both in red. The cover is franked with a four margin #1 (with crease from cover fold), as well as a second 3½ margin #1 with major re-entry from position 47, pane A. Accompanied by a 2012 Richard Gratton AIEP certificate stating that the second (sound) stamp does not belong, although we tend towards a contrary assessment. Non the less, the catalogue value given is for a #1 on cover, plus a fine used major re-entry fine single. Stamps are lightly sulphuretted and the cover is very fine. Rsv. (Image)
