image Collection of Various Interesting Covers, in six Uni-Safe padded binders with slip cases, including two binders with about 250 USA items, with Air Mail covers, first flights, used and unused postal stationery, 1887 to 1990s. Also a binder full of interesting items such as early worldwide stationery, group of modern Russian stationery, two binders containing 100 different Franklin Mint thematic presentation cards with the stamps in mounts as well as a collection of 50 different Jell-O automobile and airplane collectible wheel coins. image Advanced Collection of "Transorma" Mail Sorting Machine Markings, with 112 covers or cards, all written-up on album pages in a binder. Transorma (for TRANsportation and SORting of mail and the initials of inventors Marchand and Andriessen) began trials in Brighton in early 1935. This extensive collection is organized by cities where the machines were in use, starting with Brighton (1936 to 1967), Silver Spring (USA), Buenos Aires, Ghent (Belgium), Caracas, Rio (1941 to 1950), Sao Paulo, Peterborough (Canada), Utrecht, Haarlem, Rotterdam, GB (25 George VI covers) and s'Gravenhage. An interesting nucleus collection and not often seen material, especially in this quantity and quality. Fine to mostly very fine. Ex. Liptak collection. (Image)
