Prince Robert Items, with an air letter mailed in England with "Army Post Office" handstamps in purple, with censor handstamp and 1944 Trochu Alberta receiver on back as well as a Prince Robert return address (this cover accompanied by an interesting write-up). Also a cover addressed to Trochu with air mail label plus "Received From H.M. Ships / PAID" handstamp in purple, with 1943 Trochu receiver on back as well as a Prince Robert return address. Third item is a 1943 Airgraph cover with contents being a reduced in size letter form sent to Trochu, Alberta. A scarce group. (Image)

image Group of Two WWI P.O.W. Covers from Kingston, Ont. both have the standard large c.d.s. "Passed by Internment Censor / Kingston, Ont.", first in purple is dated JUN.15.1915 on a very early free cover to Germany with a circular "POW FREE / PRISONERS OF WAR / P.C." handstamp (overall fine, with letter enclosed), the other in red was used as a receiver on APR.12.1917 on cover from Cologne, Germany to a prisoner at Fort Henry, Kingston, with censor tape "P.W.100" on back (creases and small tears). image 1836 Antigua to Dumfermline, Scotland, a stampless folded 3½ page letter mailed (datelined Antigua 11th Aug 1836), with boxed "RASGATE / SHIP LETTER", boxed "1/2", red double circle "F / 12OC12 / 1836" and red single circle OCT / C 14 E / 1836". The letter is quite long (partly cross-written), with soiling on front, still fine-very fine and an interesting origin country. (Image)

image Specialized Collection of King George VI British Empire Postal History, all neatly displayed and well written up in two albums, with a total of 133 covers, cards and stationery, organized alphabetically by country from Aden to Turks & Caicos, with many different countries represented. A great variety of usages, rates (both surface and airmails), and mostly all censored. We also note a good variety of destinations including Canada. An ideal lot for the collector of WWII censorship mail, KGVI era, etc. We only scanned a few items, and therefore recommend viewing to better appreciate. Overall fine to very fine. Ex.
