Collection of Small Queens with Plate Imprints, etc. Includes 38 stamps (some are in pairs or strips). 24 items (multiples counted as one) show a plate imprint, the rest are either marginal copies with selvedge or are very off-center. We noted other interesting attributes such as position dots, scratches, etc. A useful lot for the specialist, all scanned online. (Image)
Collection of Small Queens with Varieties, from the ½c to the 10c values (no 1c or 8c), all showing a variety of plate varieties, many of which are illustrated on a blow up picture. Includes dots, scratches, smudges, re-entries, guide lines, white chignon on 5c, etc., and we noted items ex. Brassler and Simpson. Most of these are still on Dick Lamb cards. A few faults, still a useful lot for the specialist, all are scanned online. (Image)
Group of Used Small Queen Collections, with over 250 stamps, all mounted or hinged onto about 27 pages. Starts with a basic collection with ½c to 50c, with shades and printings, then follows with a collection of postmarks on the 1c to 3c values, with town cancels, many corks, a page of squared circles, and more. Noted many strips of three or four of the 1c value with nice postmarks. Overall fine, see scans online for an idea. (Image)
1897 3c bright rose Jubilee, group of mint singles, with 7x never hinged, 10x hinged and two faulty not counted. Centering varies but overall fine. (Image)
1897 3c bright rose Jubilee, bulk lot of 336 used copies, probably two thirds of which are dated and have town postmarks. Also note flag cancels, etc. Overall fine or better. (Image)
