Collection of Canada-Wide Squared Circles, in 165x 102 cards, each containing one to several stamps. These are from the same collection that was offered in our September 2018 sale in three volumes, but were found later. They appear to be both duplicates and items that were purchased but not yet placed in the albums. We note many different issues from the Small Queens to The Admiral, including twelve Map stamps, and appears to have a good variety of different towns, but unchecked by us as to better strikes, etc, so viewing is recommended.

image RIVIERE DU LOUP STATION / QUE very fine but light receiving strike (in blue, dated AUG.10.1895) on back of a postcard datelined "St Pascal, 10 aout 1895", cancelled by Quebec & Campbelton Express R.P.O. c.d.s. The 5th edition of the squared circle Handbook mentions "blue strike reported according to the 3rd edition Handbook", therefore we assume that none have been seen in a long time, unless the report was for this one, which would possibly make it unique.
