1927 Canada Confederation Copper Plaque. Made to commemorate 60 years of Confederation. About 12 inches high by 18 inches wide by ¾ in deep, weighs 1.5 lbs. Originally in a school house in Nova Scotia. First we have seen, and probably rare, as most were melted down for the War effort. Comes with detailed 3 pages of info. Nice patina, few oxidation spots, else fine. Nice item for your stamp den. (Image)
1927 Canada Post Office "1867 Confederation 1927" Leatherette Presentation Album, with the complete 1927 Confederation and Historical sets, all mint never hinged and mainly fine centered. The red presentation album with gold lettering is fresh, very fine and scarce. (Image)
1927 2c green Fathers of Confederation, a very nice collection on black stock pages, starting with a large die proof (with faults but pencil notes on back from printing process), eight plate multiples, ranging from pairs to block of 10 (including most plate numbers and many never hinged), some private perfins, a Frodel OHMS perfin forgery, some mint and used odds and ends and a selection of 119 stamps chosen for socked on the nose town cancels and finally a never hinged block of 25 with cutting arrow.
