US AND INTERNATIONAL IN SCOTT 19th CENTURY ALBUM. 1919 edition of the Scott 19th Century International Postage Stamp Album, appears to have been entirely untouched since 1929 (it has remained in the family since then), begins with a selection of US with better including (all used): 2 (red grid cancel, two large margins), 37 (stuck down), 119, 153, 229, Columbians to the 30c, Trans-Miss to the 10c, smattering of revenues, continues with most corners of the world represented including better early French Colonies such as Guadeloupe and Reunion, few Cape triangles (mostly faulty), British Honduras 26c on piece, and much more, mixed condition throughout (definitely from an era when quality was not as prized), when this collection was catalogued in 1929 the owner calculated $446.03, definitely requires a close inspection to see what might be hiding here, a wonderful time capsule
