China - People's Republic extensive mint and used collection of pre 1973 issues, including strong Liberated Areas, mounted on quadrilled pages in three large binders, being quite complete for the period, starts with Northeast China nearly complete mint, except 1949 Globe and Hammer used, then Port Arthur and Dairen, North China, Northwest China, East China, Central China, South China and Southwest China, these being largely the commemoratives, plus some Soviet Post issues, then come the P.R.C. proper issues both mint and used and highly complete, including 1950 Mao, 1950 surcharges, 1950 Gate of Heavenly Peace, 1952 Physical Exercises blocks, both mint and used, 1950s and 1960s issues mostly used including 1962 Mei Lan-fang, useful Cultural Revolution issues with 1967 Thought of Mao including both strips of five used, Mao Our Great Teacher set used, Talks on Literature and Art mint, 1968 Directives of Chairman Mao strip of five used, 1971 Paris Commune mint and 50th Anniversary set including the strip of three mint, etc. the Orange military stamp and much more, some portions (mostly the earliest issues) are affected by toning, otherwise o.g., unused as issues or n.h., fine-very fine; a lovely collection which is a pleasure to view.
