image Bridgetown, provisional St. Vincent Code "C" datestamp, tying the franking on two May-September 1907 envelopes to Panama and Washington, the earlier bearing 1904-11 ½d single and strip of four, with Colon transit and Pedro Miguel receiving c.d.s.'s on back; the later cover franked by 1904-11 ½d and 1907-08 1d pair, backstamped on arrival, both showing Kingstown transit c.d.s. on reverse; two of only four covers recorded during this rare provisional period of usage at Bridgetown; it is presumed that this datestamp was into use in this village from only July 1905 to March 1908. Chateaubelair, Extended Village datestamp, diameter 24 mm., used on three items, showing the code letter "C" sideways down on 1902 1d stationery postcard to Holland, also "C" sideways up, unrecorded variety exhibited on 1941 envelope to Barbados bearing 1938 2½d, 3d, 6d and 1s., tying this franking and repeated adjacent, as well as tying the franking on 1909 cover to Colon, Panama being an infrequent destination, bearing 1907-08 2½d; a fine group.
