1941 5k brown red, left sheet margin block of six (2x3), positions 11-12 (type III), 21-22, 31-32 (type III), upper right "1946" for "1941" (pos.12); middle left (pos.21) with "1921" (!) for "1941", lower right (pos.32) is "V" for "VI" variety, top stamps hinged, balance never hinged, v.f., with 2011 Krischke certificate. The "1921" variety was a previously unrecorded error and was offered for the first time at auction in 2011. Mr. Krischke writes that this error must have been spotted quickly and corrected immediately, as all stamps encountered from position 21 contain only the regular "1941" overprints. A rare opportunity to acquire a unique "blackjack" error from the German World War II Occupation of Lithuania (Cat No. Mi. 1II/III) (Image)
