1859 5c Deep Red Beaver with Major Re-Entry from position 28. A lovely example in used condition, showing the entire design doubled, particularly strong at left, with all lettering, all four "5"s and many other designs strongly doubled. One of the most striking re-entries in Canadian philately. A particularly nice stamp, with its perforations clear from the design on all sides plus its light target cancel ideally at right, leaving the best parts of the re-entry perfectly clear. Extremely fine.
Ex Denton, "Carrington" and "Malibu" collections. (Image)
