Optimal’s new-to-the world energy as a management service helps to reduce energy cost by up to 70% using ML (Machine Learning), Artificial Intelligence, and IoT (Internet of Things). Further, the company’s solar tech is designed to reduce installation time from 21 days to 8 hours and improve land yield from 1 megawatts to 3 megawatts for every 5 acres. Optimal has earned over $880,000 in pilot projects in 2021.

Functional Fluidics (Detroit) is a diagnostics company that is actively helping improve the lives of people with sickle cell disease by helping pharma develop better therapies and helping providers make better treatment decisions. They recently completed a $3 million bridge round to build on their success in Medicare contracting, expand clinical testing and reimbursement in the adult population, and accelerate validation and revenue through strategic partnerships with pharma.
