Worldwide Internet/Mail Sale - July 20, 2022

Welcome to our July 20th auction with over 6,400 lots to choose from. 2022 is our 50th year of auctions! We hope that you will enjoy browsing through Sale #357. Here are some of the highlights:
  • Terrific section of United States including many key stamps with Certificates, plus Proofs, Essays, imperforates and errors.
  • Many nice Zeppelin covers from Germany and other countries including Japan, Greece, Danzig, Brazil and United States.
  • Canada from 19th Century classics up to modern including many scarcer items like used blocks of the $3, $4, and $5 Jubilees and a used Seaway with Inverted Centre error.
  • Strong section of Canadian Revenues including scarce Law Stamps, Telephone and Telegraph Franks.
  • Excellent worldwide postal history, covers and postcards including many airmail related and illustrated advertising covers.
  • Nice British Commonwealth with many scarcer singles and sets. Some of the stronger countries are Ireland, Australia, Falkland Islands and Bermuda.
  • A great section of Canada Semi-Official Airmails with stamps, covers and full panes. This section includes a 1928 Moose Jaw Flying Club cover and two different mint tete beche pairs of the 1918 Aero Club of Canada.
  • Hundreds of larger lots including intact collections, estate lots, cartons, dealer stocks and accumulations. These are always popular and will appeal to both collectors and dealers alike.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information displayed at Stamp Auction Network for our auction lots is now being updated. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EDT on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #357 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, July 23rd.
