Worldwide Internet / Mail Bid Auction - August 17, 2022

Our next internet / mail bid sale includes over 4300 lots with presale estimates of over £610,000. In this Summer season auction closing on 17th August at 5pm (GMT) highlights include:
  • Many solid country collections, postal history, key sets and singles, noted British Commonwealth covers, Br. Empire King George Sixth mint collections in printed albums (one lot SG Cat £21,000).
  • Dozens of world albums with 1000s in each collection in Scott or Minkus albums (great for expansion), 1949 UPU world omnibus sets including key values.
  • Postal History including early Switzerland correspondance to Liverpool with French exchange office entry marks, Crimea war letters from a French soldier at Sevastopol. French pre-stamp mails, Undercover mails to Box 506, nice selection of Zeppelin mails and postcards.
  • A to Z countries from Aden onwards in sets, singls, postal history, collections, modern European country sections unmounted mint to 2000's. Australian states including Tasmania 4d mint (SG cat £6000 with cert), better singles and classics.   • Rhodesia 1901 Arms £20 bistre mint, SG Cat £16,000, key stamp for the period.
  • United States including 1893 Columbian to $5, Airmails with 1930 Zeppelin singles to $2.60. Plate blocks collection in 50 albums. Our usual offering of Great Britain with extensive sections covering all reigns with useful gems throughout to build on your collection. Plus Guernsey imprint blocks, QEII Cotswold covers, EDVII mint to £1, Classic QV including never hinged.
