Internet Only Auction - August 14, 2018

Sam Houston Philatelics next auction will close on Thursday, August 14, 2018, at 1:00 PM, CDT. This is an INTERNET ONLY auction - no catalog will be mailed. The sale contains over 400 lots, with material in all price ranges for collectors and dealers alike. Here are some highlights in the sale:
  • UNITED STATES, contains over (100) lots with about (25) Classics; including no's 12, 31, & 38. You will also find about (45) Banknotes, Columbians, Washington-Franklin and early Commemorative issues. Rounding out the US are about (25) 1920 issues and (15) modern era, with a few graded.

  • AIRMAIL & BACK OF BOOK ISSUES, contains about (56) lots of Airmails, including a set of C13-15 VF-XF NH Graf Zeppelins.

  • ERRORS, FREAKS & ODDITIES, includes a few (19) lots, with some interesting selections of mis-perfs, missing or mis-registered colors, and others.

  • GENERAL FOREIGN & COLLECTIONS, contains about (50) lots that includes a number of Great Britain, Greece and Mexico selections.

  • DUCK STAMPS AND CONSERVATION STAMPS (Federal & State) contains over (190) lots, including RW57a & RW57b with back inscription missing and printed on the stamp paper; a number of PNS's (about 35), and RW1 on Form 3333, with some other license items. A nice variety of material.
