Phoenix Auctions Sale - 91

Worldwide Public Auction - March 10-11, 2022

Auction 91 is being held over two days, Thursday 10th March & Friday 11th March. Auction 91 will be live on the net via our own auction systems. Just login as usual and then open the Live Bidding window.
  • Session 1 (lots 1-329) starts at 10.00am on Thursday and is Kangaroo lots through KGV Heads. This section features a wide range of shades, monograms, imprints and varieties, with a good mix of single items and group lots. It includes two wonderful 2d lots. Lot 76, our front cover item, the first mint 2d Die IIA Wmk Inverted MUH recorded, as well as lot 72, the extremely rare 2d 3rd Wmk with State II - Scratch from left frame to map.
  • Session 2 (lots 330-926) starts no earlier than 1:00pm on Thursday, and contains the rest of the Australian Commonwealth period followed by Australian Colonies through to Tasmania. Varieties continue to be well represented as well as, Postal History, Postal Stationery, Postage, etc are included in this session. A good selection of Customs stamps is on offer with a number of rare items. There is a good selection of lots from the Colonies with quite a useful range of postmarks.
  • Session 3 (lots 927-1361) starts at 10:00am on Friday. This session continues the Australian Colonies lots with a strong selection Victoria onwards and finishes with the Australian Territories and then general collections, ephemera etc.
  • Session 4 (lots 1362-1959) starts no earlier than 1:00pm on Friday. This session is just Rest of The World lots As always there is a good range of British Commonwealth varieties. It also contains a rare and interesting range of Italian States (lots 1690-1720) as well as a selection of the very rare 1900 Peru view cards (lots 1830-47).
