Phoenix Auctions Sale - 83

Worldwide Public Auction - October 2, 2020

Auction 83 will be live on the net via our own auction systems. Just login as usual and then open the Live Bidding window. This will then give you the ability to bid on each lot just as if you were in the room.


Session 1 (lots 1-678) starts at 9:00am local and contains general collections, literature PPCs and Australian Commonwealth. This section includes over 80 lots of literature, some of which are rarely offered, a comprehesive selection of 1½d Die I lots (many cracked electros) from the collection of Dieter Habicht. as well as many other varieties etc
Session 2 (lots 679-896) starts no earlier than 12:30pm local. It contains Australian Colonies, including a further selection of Hugh Freeman’s New South Wales & Victorian numeral cancels. Within the Victoria section there are several lots from a specialised 9d Bell collection. This session finishes with a few Territories lots.
Session 3 (lots 897-1189) starts no earlier than 3:00pm local. It contains the Rest of the World, with quite a range of British Commonwealth including many varieties. There are several pmk lots with 2 nice Greek collections of datestamps and numerals and several lots of Mexican Stationery.
