II, Major Plate Crack, a dramatic top margin block of ten, positions 1-4, 11-14, 23, and 24L2, showing the major cracked plate flaw from plate 2, through positions 2L, 13L, 23L and intermediate crack through 12L, disturbed original gum, vertical and horizontal creases, and closed tear in position 12, fine appearance, with 2019 P.F. certificate. An exceptionally striking and important example of this famous flaw. Our research suggests that this is the largest known multiple, next to a block of nine, ex-Colonel Green, which is illustrated in Ashbrook.
