Sometimes the item has been coded under the wrong country so use the Auction History Quick Catalogue Edit and then type in the catalog number or wildcard RW1 or RW% to get all RW's Check the other countries to find what may be loaded in the wrong country. Here are a couple of combinations which ought to yield a number of records for datamining. Now lets say you are looking for everything in a difficult Country like say Guam Start with Country Master Edit and pick Guam, this will give you all the records by Catalog number coded as Guam. You can pick on any of the Catalog Numbers and roam around, but there is more to find. Lets fix the bad countries first. Pick May be Wrong Country because Text does not include [country]. There may be many legitimate records in this, but you can quickly find the ones that don't belong. Then use May be [Country] because text DOES include the [Country]. You can link the missing records up with the country by pasting the country name in the [New Country] box. In this case you only want to fix the country you are working on. Also it works best to start at the Last record and work back using [Previous] as everytime you remove some records, the search gets smaller and pulls some records into your current search. This does take a bit longer to search as it is looking across the entire database for missing country records. When you have the Country Code correct, then you can use the Country Master Edit to standardize the Catalog Numbers. We want to use the catalog system for each country based on the majority of collectors. You can then pull up all of a Catalog Number, or get [All] to clean up all the catalog numbers at one time. Note use the [Find Missing records] link for quick updating catalog numbers. or [New/Empty] records where the catalog number is missing.
