The Edward Morton Collection of Outstanding Quality U.S. Stamps - April 8-9, 2020

Sale 1219 features Outstanding Quality United States Stamps from the Edward Morton Collection. The collection comprises used stamps from 1845 through the 1901 Pan-American Issue. From the 1890 Issue on, there is a parallel representation of stamps in original-gum condition, many Mint Never-Hinged. Mr. Morton verified the quality of his stamps with numerically graded certificates, but his eye for cancellations, shades, sharp impressions and other attributes helped to create a truly beautiful collection that goes well beyond numbers.
